We are sisters... two out of five children born to our favorite parents. Melimba and Beccabury are aliases for our names, Melissa and Rebecca (we bet you can figure out who is who). We met back in 1988 when Rebecca was born. Melissa was four years old at the time, and they've been great pals ever since.
We come from a long line of quilters and grew up in a crafty environment. In turn, we've developed a love for anything with great design and color. We've both pursued the arts at Brigham Young University (go Cougs!) where Melissa received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing and Rebecca has a degree in Graphic Design.
We are thrilled about making fabric, having excuses to scour the library and internet for inspiration, and of course, having yet another topic to talk about long distance on the phone.
